Blueprint Day #3
So it is the final evening of the blueprint cleanse. I just finished my last sip of cashew milk. Sigh. I am going to miss your vanilla cinnamon-y goodness.
I was more tired than usual today, I think in part because I worked at 6:30am and then had
4 &1/2 hours of yoga. Still, I was not dreadfully hungry and had enough energy to function. I do have a slight headache, I think, due to the lack of caffeine in my system. I think if I decide to do this again, I am going to prepare better. Maybe start cutting out my sweets and treats a few more days before hand so it's not such a shock to my body. Not that I eat horribly, but I do drink a lot of coffee and I do enjoy the occasional slice of pizza or 2 or 3.....
So all in all.....not bad at all.....I am looking forward to the *fingers crossed* extra energy my body will have in the days and weeks to come.
Would I recommend this....absolutely. As long as you are somewhat physically fit. I think some people might have a hard time with this if they are not used to eating well. My advice would be prepare prepare prepare!!!
Stay tuned to read about the post-cleanse...
Yoga was awesome tonight!!! Befor
e class, Dina, Allison and I practiced some sequences with a few students, then practiced on our own before teacher training. My new favorite pose is kapotasana or king pigeon pose. In my opinion, it is probably the second hardest backbend in yoga of any kind. I used to hate it. It actually used to make me cry. It does something to your nervous system that is just so hard to explain until you experience it for yourself.
